PTFE Bellows

PTFE bellows are used where the chemical properties of other materials are not sufficient. They have applications in the (petro)chemical industry for the absorption of expansion and/or vibrations and as flexible connections in PTFE and glass-lined piping systems.

Advantages with the use of PTFE bellows:
■ Resistant to chemicals with the exception of fluorine compounds, halogens and liquid alkali metals.
■ The PTFE is collared at the flanges so the metal flanges do not come into contact with the medium.
■ Useable from -70 to +240 °C.
■ With a metal jacket also suitable for high pressures at high temperatures
■ Insensitive to many movements, material does not so quickly fatigue.
■ Designed as standard with tie rods.
